Mamdani Tries To Frame Trump

In a stunning Election Day accusation, New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, tried to blame President Donald Trump for a wave of bomb threats that disrupted several polling locations in New Jersey.

But the White House didn’t hold back.

During Tuesday’s press briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sharply condemned Mamdani’s comments as “completely irresponsible and based on zero evidence.”

“This is just another example of how the Democrat Party stands for nothing,” Leavitt said. “Their entire message is built on hatred toward President Trump instead of helping the American people.”

Leavitt went further, calling Mamdani’s claims “a disgraceful attempt to divide voters on Election Day.”

“To accuse the president of something he had nothing to do with—especially on a day when Americans are trying to make their voices heard—is unacceptable,” she said.

Mamdani’s False Accusations Fall Apart

Mamdani, 34, claimed that the threats were “part of the general approach the Trump administration has taken to intimidate voters.”

He offered no proof, no evidence—just another baseless political attack designed to make headlines.

The socialist candidate doubled down, calling the bomb threats “an attack on democracy.”
But many voters see it differently: as yet another Democrat distraction to take attention off rising crime, collapsing infrastructure, and record-high taxes in blue states.

Trump Responds With Classic Toughness

President Donald Trump didn’t ignore the attack. He’s repeatedly called out Mamdani’s radical agenda, even nicknaming him “my little communist.”

Trump also issued a warning Tuesday morning to Jewish voters in New York, writing on Truth Social:

“Any Jewish voter who supports Zohran Mamdani — a man openly hostile toward Israel and the Jewish people — is making a terrible mistake.”

The President later told 60 Minutes that while he’s “not a fan” of former Governor Andrew Cuomo, he would still prefer Cuomo over Mamdani.

“At least Cuomo isn’t trying to destroy America from within,” Trump said.

A Clear Choice for New Yorkers

With Election Day underway, polls show Mamdani leading Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa in the New York City mayoral race.

But many New Yorkers—especially older, patriotic voters—are alarmed by Mamdani’s ties to far-left groups and his outspoken hostility toward Israel.

Leavitt summed up the mood among many conservatives:

“The Democrat Party doesn’t stand for the middle class, for working families, or for unity. It stands for division, fear, and hatred of President Trump.”

Bottom Line

Mamdani’s reckless effort to frame President Trump shows just how desperate Democrats have become heading into the next election.

While they hurl accusations, Trump continues to focus on restoring law, order, and prosperity to the American people—something that voters of every age and background can see with their own eyes.
