Trump Makes Jimmy Kimmel’s Kids Cry

Hollywood’s late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is blaming President Donald Trump for something new — making his kids cry.

During a recent podcast appearance, Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, admitted they told their children that Trump was the reason Jimmy Kimmel Live! was temporarily taken off the air.

“Our son asked if the president had done this,” McNearney recalled. “And we both said ‘yes.’”

The couple was referring to Kimmel’s suspension last September after he falsely claimed the man who murdered conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was a Trump supporter. The comment — made on Kimmel’s ABC show — sparked nationwide outrage, including condemnation from FCC Chair Brendan Carr and from major ABC affiliate owners Nexstar and Sinclair.

Just 48 hours later, ABC and Disney suspended the comedian. Although liberal outlets accused President Trump of “pressuring” the network, the White House firmly denied any involvement.

Still, the move sent shockwaves through Hollywood. Kimmel’s suspension highlighted the growing backlash against late-night hosts who use their platforms to attack conservatives while pretending to be comedians.

When Kimmel returned to air a week later, he refused to apologize. Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, slammed Kimmel as an “unrepentant liar” who continues to spread falsehoods about conservatives.

On the same podcast, McNearney confessed she’s lost family members because they supported Trump — saying their votes for him felt like “votes against our family.”

But to millions of Americans, it’s yet another reminder that Hollywood elites live in a bubble — one where telling the truth about Trump is considered “dangerous,” and holding celebrities accountable is somehow “cruel.”

For many conservatives, the real headline isn’t that Jimmy Kimmel’s kids cried — it’s that the liberal media still can’t stop crying about Donald Trump.
