Trump Threatens All Countries

President Donald Trump delivered a forceful warning Saturday that resonated far beyond Latin America, making clear that the United States will no longer tolerate regimes that threaten American interests or abuse their own people.

Speaking after decisive U.S. action in Venezuela, Trump said the downfall of longtime strongman Nicolás Maduro should serve as a global lesson.

According to Trump, political and military leaders who endanger American lives or undermine U.S. sovereignty should understand that consequences are real—and unavoidable.

“This operation should stand as a warning,” Trump said, emphasizing that leaders who refuse to govern fairly, even toward their own citizens, risk severe repercussions.

Venezuela Sanctions and U.S. Military Posture

Trump confirmed that the United States will maintain its embargo on Venezuelan oil and stated that American naval forces remain strategically positioned in the region. He stressed that all options remain on the table until U.S. objectives are fully achieved.

“The United States will not back down,” Trump said. “Our demands must be met—completely.”

The president declared that Maduro’s removal marks a turning point for the people of Venezuela, whom he said had endured years of corruption, repression, and economic collapse.

“The Venezuelan people are free again,” Trump said. “It’s been a long time coming.”

A Safer Western Hemisphere

Trump argued that U.S. action has strengthened national security and restored stability across the Western Hemisphere.

“America is safer this morning,” he said. “And the entire region is safer because the United States acted when others would not.”

He sharply criticized previous administrations for what he described as decades of neglect, saying weak leadership allowed security threats to grow unchecked in America’s own backyard.

“That era is over,” Trump said.

Reasserting American Strength

Trump emphasized that under his administration, American influence and leadership have returned to the forefront.

“We had strong dominance during my first term,” he said. “And today, our position is even stronger.”

According to Trump, nations around the world are once again taking the United States seriously—particularly when it comes to defending trade routes, borders, and strategic resources.

“These things are core to national security,” he said. “Just like tariffs, just like borders.”

Border Security and Law Enforcement

The president concluded by reiterating his commitment to border security and public safety.

“We will stop terrorists, dismantle cartels, and defend American citizens from all threats—foreign and domestic,” Trump said.

He contrasted his approach with that of past leaders, saying hesitation and weakness only invite danger.

“I will never allow criminals or terrorists to operate against the United States without consequence,” Trump said.
