Famous Liberal YouTube Star Attacks Trump

Popular children’s YouTube personality Rachel Accurso, widely known as Ms. Rachel, is once again at the center of a political debate after sharing a social media message that many viewed as a response to President Donald Trump’s latest viral post.

The children’s entertainer did not mention Trump by name, but her comments came shortly after the president shared a video from a Minnesota kindergarten graduation that quickly sparked widespread discussion online.

In her Instagram post, Accurso praised children who wore hijabs during the ceremony.

In her post, she told the graduates she noticed some had chosen to wear hijabs during the ceremony and said she was happy they wore something that held personal and family significance. She added that she believes hijabs are beautiful.

She continued by saying that children express their faith and cultural traditions in different ways, mentioning hijabs, Jewish kippahs, and Christian cross necklaces as examples. She also noted that some children do not wear religious clothing or identify with a religion.

Accurso emphasized that every child deserves kindness and respect regardless of what they choose to wear.

“We all belong,” she wrote. “No one’s hurtful words can take away our worth and our value.”

She also encouraged children to speak with a trusted adult if someone criticized or mocked their clothing or beliefs, saying those conversations help build stronger and safer communities.

The post concluded with a message of encouragement for young students. Accurso told children she was proud of them, asked about their favorite kindergarten memories, and reminded them they would always be welcome in her classroom.

Although she never referenced Trump directly, the timing of her message drew attention after the president shared a graduation video that had already gone viral on social media.

Trump reposted an image from the X account End Wokeness, which identified the footage as a kindergarten graduation in St. Paul, Minnesota. The post pointed out that many of the girls participating in the ceremony appeared to be wearing hijabs while singing in graduation caps and gowns.

The video quickly fueled debate online over immigration, religious expression, and changing cultural trends in American public schools.

Throughout his political career, Trump has frequently criticized Minnesota’s immigration policies and raised concerns about the state’s Somali community. His administration has also pursued investigations into alleged fraud involving programs in Minnesota while increasing immigration enforcement efforts in the region.

Accurso, meanwhile, has become increasingly outspoken on humanitarian issues involving children.

Last month, she visited the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, where she met with families affected by immigration enforcement.

She has also repeatedly spoken out about children caught in the conflict in Gaza. While her advocacy has drawn criticism from some observers, Accurso has maintained that every child deserves protection regardless of nationality, religion, or background.

In a previous Instagram message, she wrote that all children should have access to food, clean water, medical care, and education, adding that every child should be protected from violence.

The latest exchange has once again placed the popular YouTube educator in the middle of a broader national conversation over immigration, religion, education, and America’s cultural future. As those issues continue to dominate political debate, reactions to both Trump’s post and Accurso’s response show just how divided public opinion remains.
