Democrats Furious Over New Gift To Trump

A fresh wave of liberal outrage is sweeping through Washington — and it’s all thanks to a bold new proposal to honor President Donald J. Trump in a historic and permanent way.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) has formally requested that Trump’s face be added to Mount Rushmore, alongside the legendary leaders who helped shape America. The move comes just as Congress passed Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, a cornerstone of his second-term agenda that’s already being hailed as a game-changer for American energy, jobs, and prosperity.

In a letter to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, Ogles stated plainly:

“The time has come to honor President Trump’s legacy on Mount Rushmore. His leadership, courage, and love of country mirror the greatness of our founding presidents. This is the next chapter in our American story.”

He went on to compare Trump’s impact with that of the very men carved into the mountain:

  • Like George Washington, Trump led with boldness and put country before self.
  • Like Thomas Jefferson, he expanded America’s reach, challenging globalism and the Deep State.
  • Like Theodore Roosevelt, he stood up to entrenched elites and fought for working-class Americans.

Ogles posted a digital rendering of the memorial on social media, showing Trump’s head added to the far right, just beside Abraham Lincoln. The image instantly went viral, sparking a firestorm on the left — and overwhelming support on the right.

President Trump reignited American pride, rebuilt the economy, and stood tall for our values when no one else would,” Ogles said. “That kind of impact deserves to be carved in stone.”

Democrats and media pundits were quick to lash out, calling the suggestion “outrageous.” But for millions of everyday Americans — especially seniors and veterans who watched their country decline before Trump’s rise — the idea of honoring him at Mount Rushmore feels long overdue.

Supporters say it’s not just about one man, but a movement that revived the American spirit, secured our borders, stood up to China, and put faith and freedom first.
