Trump Declares War On BRICS

President Donald Trump has officially put the world on notice. In a major announcement Sunday night, Trump warned that countries aligning with the anti-American BRICS alliance will face an immediate 10% tariff, effective August 1.

“There will be NO EXCEPTIONS,” Trump declared in a fiery post. “Any country siding with BRICS and their anti-U.S. agenda will be penalized — period.”

The BRICS group — originally made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa — expanded in 2024 to include Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, raising concerns among U.S. national security experts. With over half the world’s population now under BRICS influence, the alliance has openly challenged America’s global leadership, calling for a shift away from institutions like the International Monetary Fund.

Trump’s bold new tariff policy is being hailed by conservatives as a long-overdue stand against foreign aggression and globalist influence. According to the White House, only the United Kingdom and Vietnam have secured exemption deals ahead of the enforcement deadline.

“The United States will not sit back while foreign powers try to rewrite the rules of global trade,” Trump said. “Starting Monday, July 7, U.S. Tariff Letters will be delivered to countries around the world. If they’re with BRICS, they’re against us.”

BRICS leaders, currently meeting in Rio de Janeiro, immediately lashed out, claiming U.S. tariffs pose a “threat to global stability.” But many in Trump’s base see it differently — as a decisive defense of American workers, industries, and sovereignty.

Trump’s America First approach is once again sending a clear signal: if you want access to the U.S. market, you’d better respect U.S. values.
