Hillary Gaslights Americans Against Trump

Hillary Clinton is back in the spotlight — and once again, she’s targeting conservatives while warning about the future of America’s values. The twice-failed presidential candidate is now predicting that the U.S. Supreme Court could overturn its 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which forced nationwide recognition of same-sex marriage.

Speaking on Fox News host Jessica Tarlov’s podcast Raging Moderates, Clinton claimed Republicans have been “working for decades” to reach this moment. She urged same-sex couples to “consider getting married” before the Court makes its move.

Clinton compared the situation to the overturning of Roe v. Wade:

“It took 50 years to overturn Roe. My prediction is they will do to gay marriage what they did to abortion — they’ll send it back to the states.”

Clinton Pushes Fear to Rally Democrats

This isn’t the first time Hillary Clinton has tried to stir fear among voters. For years, she has painted conservatives and President Trump as threats to “rights” — while ignoring the real attacks on free speech, parental authority, and religious liberty happening under Democrat leadership.

Her warning comes after Kim Davis — the Kentucky clerk jailed in 2015 for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses — formally asked the Court to revisit Obergefell. The justices have not yet said whether they’ll take the case, but Clinton is already fanning the flames.

What Happens If Obergefell Falls?

If Obergefell were overturned, same-sex marriages already performed would remain legal. That’s due to the Respect for Marriage Act, a 2022 law signed by Joe Biden, which forces states to recognize marriages performed elsewhere.

But here’s the truth the media often ignores: more than 30 states still have “zombie laws” on the books banning same-sex marriage. Those bans are unenforceable now, but if Obergefell falls, the battle would return to the states — just like abortion.

Justice Clarence Thomas has already said the Court should reconsider Obergefell. Justice Samuel Alito warned that Americans who believe in traditional marriage are increasingly “labeled as bigots” and silenced by government and media elites.

Support for Marriage Shifting Among Republicans

While Democrats claim marriage redefinition is “settled,” support among Republicans is slipping. Gallup polls show GOP support at 41%, the lowest in 10 years. Another survey found that while a majority of Republicans still back marriage rights, they worry about religious liberty being crushed by left-wing activists.

Clinton’s Strategy: Gaslight and Distract

By framing conservatives as plotting to strip rights, Hillary Clinton is trying to rally the Democrat base ahead of the next election. For many Americans, it’s clear this is less about marriage and more about distracting from Joe Biden’s failures and attacking President Trump’s supporters.

Clinton has made a career of dismissing middle America’s values while cozying up to media elites. Her latest warning is just another attempt to rewrite the narrative, vilify conservatives, and gaslight voters into fearing Trump’s America.

Bottom Line

Hillary Clinton’s latest comments aren’t about protecting rights — they’re about political power. For conservatives, this is a reminder of why the Supreme Court matters, why elections have consequences, and why defending faith and family values remains at the heart of the fight for America’s future.
