Should gender-free toilets be mandated in schools?

Chicago public schools have made all student toilets gender neutral.

YES

If you’re a pervert.

NO

It violates kids’ safety and privacy.

This move by the Chicago Public Schools to make all restrooms gender-neutral is to make them ‘more inclusive’. “This is a big step towards gender equity for our students and staff,” said the CPS. Gender-free toilets can be used by anyone regardless of their gender.

This notion has created serious concern among some parents, who fear for the safety and privacy of their children, especially girls. This concern is not without basis, as in Loudoun County a boy wearing a skirt sexually assaulted a girl in the bathroom at Stone Bridge High School. The school board initially tried to downplay and cover up this incident, leading to uproar from parents.
