Europe Insults Trump

Spain Dismisses Trump’s Warning — and Proves Why He Was Right About NATO

President Donald J. Trump has once again been proven right — this time by Europe’s stubborn refusal to carry its own weight in NATO.

On Friday, Spain’s socialist Defense Minister Margarita Robles arrogantly declared that her country is “not worried” about being called out by President Trump for failing to meet defense spending commitments.

“We’re not concerned,” Robles said during a press briefing in Madrid, adding that she believes President Trump understands Spain remains a dedicated and dependable NATO ally.

But President Trump — who has long demanded that European nations pay their fair share — didn’t mince words. Speaking from the Oval Office alongside Finland’s president, Trump said Spain is “a laggard” for spending only 1.3% of its GDP on defense, far below the 2% NATO benchmark.

“They have no excuse not to pay,” Trump said. “Maybe you should throw them out of NATO, frankly.”

His blunt statement drew global headlines — and renewed support from Americans who believe Trump’s leadership is the only thing keeping NATO honest.

🇺🇸 Trump Stands Up for American Taxpayers

For decades, the United States has carried the burden of defending Europe while countries like Spain enjoy the benefits of protection — without paying the bill.

President Trump has made it clear: that era is over.

He warned earlier this year that American soldiers and taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize wealthy European nations that refuse to protect themselves.

Spain, however, continues to shrug off responsibility.

In June, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez flatly rejected NATO’s proposal to raise defense spending to 5% of GDP by 2035, calling it “unreasonable.”

In a letter to NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Sánchez even argued that the move would “hinder the EU’s efforts to strengthen its security.”

“It’s every government’s rightful decision to determine whether they’re prepared to make such sacrifices,” Sánchez wrote. “As an independent ally, we’ve chosen not to do so.”

In other words — Spain wants American protection, but doesn’t want to pay for it.

⚠️ Trump’s Warning to NATO: “Enough Is Enough”

At the NATO Summit in The Hague, President Trump didn’t hold back.

“Spain’s terrible, what they’ve done,” Trump said. “They’re the only country that won’t pay the full amount. They just want to stay at 2 percent. I think it’s unfair that they’re not paying — but I still like Spain.”

Trump’s message was clear: if America must foot the bill, America gets to call the shots.

And once again, the liberal European elite are proving Trump right — while America’s 45th President stands alone defending U.S. taxpayers, troops, and sovereignty.

💬 What It Means for America

This latest exchange underscores a larger truth: the world respects America only when it respects President Trump.

While European leaders lecture about “global cooperation,” they depend on Trump’s strength and America’s might to keep them safe.

The contrast couldn’t be clearer — Biden bows, Trump leads.
