President Donald Trump is once again facing sharp criticism from Democrats, who are accusing his administration of what they describe as “total corruption.” The charge adds another chapter to the long-running political battle between Trump and his Democratic opponents as both parties attempt to shape public opinion ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
Democratic leaders have repeatedly raised concerns about Trump’s use of presidential authority, his administration’s policies, and the relationship between government decisions and the president’s political and business interests. Some Democrats argue that these issues deserve greater congressional scrutiny and say lawmakers have a responsibility to investigate potential conflicts of interest or abuses of power.
