Republicans argue that Trump’s victories and continued influence show that Americans are increasingly rejecting progressive policies promoted by Democrats. Critics disagree, saying the country remains deeply divided and that election results cannot necessarily be interpreted as an endorsement of every cultural position promoted by the Republican Party.
