Should Biden be required to take a cognitive exam?

Voters continue to have increasing doubts about the health and mental fitness of President Joe Biden. According to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, only 40 percent of voters surveyed agreed with the statement that Biden “is in good health,” while 50 percent disagreed. That represents a massive 29-point shift since October 2020, when Morning Consult last surveyed the question and found voters believed Biden was in good health by a 19-point margin.

President Biden, now 79 years of age, is the oldest serving President in US history. Biden often stumbles during press conferences, leading many to question his mental fitness.

A POLITICO/Morning Consult poll found that only 40% of respondents believe that Biden is in good health, while 50% disagreed. This marks a shift of 29 points since the poll was last taken in October 2020.

Biden did not take any cognitive test during his annual exam, unlike his predecessor Donald Trump, who passed the test scoring 30 out of 30 reportedly.
