Trump Ends The Democratic Party

The Democratic Party is facing a historic internal crisis, and the backlash from its own base is growing louder by the day.

Across the country, progressive activists and liberal voters are turning on Senate Democrats, furious over what they see as repeated betrayals of the party’s far-left agenda. The latest trigger? Democrat leaders, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, worked with Republicans to pass a temporary funding bill—averting a government shutdown, but enraging their base.

Grassroots Democrats Are Furious at Party Leaders

Liberal voters didn’t want compromise. They wanted a fight. They expected Democrats to take a hard stance against President Donald Trump and the Republican-led agenda.

A new CNN poll reveals the growing divide: 57% of Democrat voters now want their party to focus solely on stopping the GOP, while just a few years ago, the majority favored bipartisan cooperation. In 2017, that number was 74%.

Now, that willingness to work across the aisle is all but gone—and the cracks in the party are starting to show.

Democrats Turn on Their Own in New Polls

For the first time in Quinnipiac polling history, Congressional Democrats are underwater with their own voters. Just 40% of Democrat voters approve of how their party is performing in Congress. A stunning 49% disapprove—a complete reversal from last year, when party approval stood at 75%.

Even left-leaning outlet Politico admits the anger inside the Democratic Party is “historic.”

“The intensity of the anger roiling the party is at a historic level,” one insider told the outlet.

This kind of internal discontent could reshape the 2026 primaries, with younger, more radical candidates challenging veteran Democrats who are seen as too moderate—or too willing to “play nice” with Republicans.

Voters Want Change—but Can’t Agree on the Direction

A recent Gallup poll shows the internal confusion:

  • 45% want the party to become more moderate
  • 29% want it to move even further left
  • 22% want it to stay the same

In other words, the Democrat base is fractured and directionless, unsure of how to move forward.

Bernie Sanders Pushing for Independent Revolution

Adding fuel to the fire, Senator Bernie Sanders is now pushing for more progressives to run as independents—a move that could further divide the Left and hand more seats to Republicans.

“I’m trying to rally people to get engaged and run as independents,” Sanders told The New York Times.

But historically, third-party candidates struggle, especially in a deeply polarized political climate. That means most disillusioned Democrats may stay home—or reluctantly vote for candidates they no longer support.

Democrats Face Big Trouble in 2026 Elections

Looking ahead, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Thirteen Democrat-held Senate seats are up for reelection next year, and many incumbents now face the threat of primary challenges from far-left insurgents. These radical challengers could fracture the party even more, making it easier for Republicans to win in the general election.

As Democrats fight among themselves, conservative voters and Trump supporters have a clear opportunity: stay focused on common-sense leadership, economic growth, national security, and protecting traditional American values.

👉 Keep an eye on the 2026 Senate races. The Democrat civil war may hand key victories to Republicans—if conservatives stay united and engaged.
