Trump-Hater Crockett Gets Huge Promotion

Washington, D.C. — Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett is reportedly maneuvering behind the scenes to secure a leadership position on the powerful House Oversight Committee—a move raising eyebrows in light of her record of inflammatory rhetoric and far-left positions.

Multiple sources, including Politico, report that Crockett has been actively reaching out to Democrat colleagues through calls, text messages, and informal meetings on the House floor, signaling her ambition to replace Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.). Connolly is rumored to be stepping aside as he faces a recurrence of esophageal cancer, although no official announcement has been made.

Crockett, a freshman congresswoman and outspoken progressive, reportedly told allies that she is “made for the moment” and believes she can take on what she called the “dark things” happening under President Trump’s administration. She further claimed in a message to the media:

“With Rep. Connolly expected not to seek another term, and given the wide scope of authority the Oversight Committee holds, I believe I’m prepared to expose the serious issues facing our country.”

A Pattern of Partisan Attacks and Controversial Statements

Rep. Crockett’s record includes several headline-making outbursts that have drawn criticism from both sides of the aisle. In her latest viral video, she appeared to defend illegal immigration by accusing federal authorities of “kidnapping” individuals, ignoring their “constitutional rights.” The post, shared to her Instagram account with over 1.3 million followers, claimed deportations under Trump were akin to human rights violations—even though she stayed notably silent as millions crossed the border during the Biden years.

She also accused Republicans of voting to give President Trump the authority to deport U.S. citizens—a claim widely debunked. The vote in question was related to clarifying procedures around minors who voluntarily depart with non-citizen parents, not authorizing the deportation of citizens.

Despite the facts, Crockett joined forces with fellow left-wing lawmakers Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) and Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) in a press conference blasting the GOP, accusing them of siding against “the right side of history.”

Insults and Extremism Go Viral

Crockett has also come under fire for mocking disabled Texas Governor Greg Abbott by calling him “Governor Hot Wheels,” a slur that ignited backlash across social media. She later attempted to walk back the insult, claiming her words were “misunderstood.”

In other public statements, she has taken aim at prominent figures such as Elon Musk, saying he should be “taken down,” and suggested Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) should be “knocked over the head, like, hard.”

These radical comments, combined with her ambition for a key oversight role, have sparked concern among many Americans who see a growing trend of political extremism and partisan hostility taking root within the Democrat Party.

America Deserves Leadership—Not Loudmouths

As the Biden-era chaos continues to ripple through Washington, voters—especially working-class Americans and seniors—are watching closely. With growing concerns about border security, economic instability, and government overreach, many conservatives say the last thing America needs is more radical voices in positions of power.

The question now: Will Democrats double down on divisiveness, or will common sense and leadership prevail?
