Trump’s Biggest Hater Attacks Again

Former CNN personality Jim Acosta took his trademark media hostility to new heights this weekend, launching a personal attack on Elon Musk during a segment on MSNBC. His comments came shortly after Musk voluntarily stepped away from his advisory role in President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a key part of the president’s plan to shrink the federal bureaucracy.

Appearing on MSNBC’s left-leaning platform Saturday, Acosta joined host Ali Velshi to deliver an alarmist narrative about what he called a “dangerous moment” for the country under President Trump. He criticized the administration’s America First trade policies and claimed Trump’s strong leadership style is creating tension with longtime allies.

“What’s happening with our relationship with Canada—these cockamamie ideas about it becoming part of the U.S.—it’s pushing away our friends to the north,” Acosta claimed. “I speak with diplomats and military leaders who are deeply unsettled by President Trump’s behavior around the globe.”

Acosta alleged that even top brass in Western Europe are “freaked out” by what he described as Trump’s “weight-throwing” approach to global affairs. The former CNN host offered no direct evidence for these claims, instead relying on vague references to anonymous sources.

But Acosta’s oddest moment came when he turned his criticism toward Elon Musk, who has been praised by conservatives for bringing private-sector discipline to government spending. Acosta mocked Musk’s departure from DOGE, sarcastically comparing him to spoiled dairy.

“A Trump advisor told me Musk had a sell-by date,” Acosta smirked. “But he wasn’t a head of cabbage—he was like expired, ultra-pasteurized milk. At some point, you’ve got to throw that stuff out.”

Despite the snark, Musk exited his role with class. Speaking at a White House event Friday, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO said the DOGE initiative was “only the beginning” of a long-term effort to cut wasteful federal spending. President Trump applauded Musk’s leadership and presented him with a golden key in a ceremony that symbolized transparency and reform.

Why This Matters: Media Attacks Can’t Stop Trump’s Mission to Drain the Swamp

While legacy media figures like Acosta resort to schoolyard insults, President Trump and his allies are focused on delivering results: eliminating government waste, restoring fiscal sanity, and putting American taxpayers first.

Elon Musk’s role in DOGE helped shine a spotlight on bloated federal agencies, and his departure doesn’t mark the end—it marks the beginning of a broader movement toward smaller, smarter government.
