McEnany Predicts Trump’s Failure

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is raising a red flag for Republicans—and it’s something many conservatives may not want to hear.

Despite strong leadership from President Donald Trump, McEnany is warning that the upcoming midterm elections could be an uphill battle for the GOP.

Speaking on Fox & Friends Weekend, she made it clear: history is not on Republicans’ side.

Why Republicans Could Struggle in the Midterms

Midterm elections have long been difficult for the party in power—and McEnany says this cycle will be no different.

“There’s no question President Trump is taking action and delivering results,” she explained. “But we have to be honest—midterms are always tough when you’re governing.”

Still, she emphasized that Republicans are in a stronger position with Trump than they would be otherwise.

“I like our odds with this president far more than with past leadership,” she added.

Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke pointed to another key issue: election integrity.

“Voter security could make a major difference,” Corke noted, highlighting a top concern among conservative voters.

Gas Prices, Iran Tensions, and Economic Pressure

One of the biggest threats to Republican success? The economy.

Rising gas prices—fueled in part by escalating tensions involving Iran—are putting pressure on American families. That’s a serious political risk heading into November.

Earlier this year, President Trump highlighted lower energy costs as a major win. But now, those gains are being challenged by global instability.

For many voters—especially older Americans on fixed incomes—high fuel and grocery costs are impossible to ignore.

Trump Pushes Election Security Front and Center

President Trump is doubling down on a key issue that resonates deeply with his base: election integrity.

He is strongly backing the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register and stricter voter ID laws.

Trump has made it clear he believes this issue could decide the midterms.

“Voters are demanding secure elections,” he told Republican lawmakers. “If we deliver, we will win—and keep winning.”

For many conservatives, this remains one of the most important issues in the country today.

Warning Signs Inside the Republican Party

Not everyone in the GOP is fully confident.

Former Trump advisor Marc Short warned that affordability could become a major problem for Republicans.

“Kitchen-table issues matter most,” he said, pointing to the rising cost of living.

At the same time, a wave of Republican retirements is raising concerns. Dozens of lawmakers are stepping aside, including Sam Graves, who recently announced he will not seek reelection.

That kind of turnover could make it harder for Republicans to maintain control of Congress.

Rand Paul Issues Stark Warning

Senator Rand Paul delivered one of the most serious warnings yet.

If tensions with Iran escalate further—and oil prices surge—he believes the consequences could be severe.

“If gas prices spike and military action continues, it could be disastrous for Republicans,” Paul said.

That’s a concern many voters share, especially those already feeling the strain of inflation.

What This Means for Conservative Voters

The bottom line is simple:

  • President Trump remains a strong leader for the Republican Party
  • But economic pressure and global instability could shape the midterms
  • Election security is emerging as a defining issue
  • And internal GOP challenges cannot be ignored

For conservative Americans—especially those watching their retirement savings, energy bills, and national security—the stakes couldn’t be higher.

November’s election may determine not just control of Congress, but the future direction of the country.
