Kamala Harris is under fire after she was seen enjoying a high-end night out in New York City — flanked by more than two dozen security personnel, many of whom were reportedly paid for by taxpayers.
On Sunday night, Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were photographed leaving the exclusive Polo Bar in Midtown Manhattan, according to the New York Post. The couple was surrounded by at least 25 armed bodyguards, including Secret Service agents and NYPD officers.
The security convoy included four bulletproof vehicles and three additional SUVs, parked outside the upscale bar just blocks from Trump Tower.

“It’s outrageous. The NYPD doesn’t exist to escort career politicians to fancy dinners. We don’t have enough cops on the streets as it is.”

It’s also home to some of the most expensive wine in the country, including a $14,500 bottle of Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva. Reservations must be made weeks in advance.
According to reports, Harris and Emhoff mingled with guests, posed for photos, and appeared carefree during the high-security visit.
