Was Twitter Right to Censor News About the Hunter Biden Laptop?

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey recently resigned. Will the firm’s censorship rules change for the better or worse under the new CEO?

YES

NO

On October 14, 2020, the New York Post broke a story of emails showing how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian company executive from Burisma to his dad who was serving as Vice President. Hunter was also a member of the board of directors at Burisma.

One of the emails read, “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.”

When the story broke out, Twitter censored it and locked the account of the New York Post. Twitter said that the post violated its hacked materials policy. However, the Post retorted that the emails were taken from a laptop that was dropped off at a repair shop in Delaware in April 2019. The laptop allegedly belongs to Hunter Biden, who himself admitted that it “could be” his.
