Washington, D.C. – In a town hall that’s raising eyebrows, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) admitted the Democratic Party may already be coalescing around a “safe white boy” for the 2028 presidential race — a move that has conservative voters asking: What happened to the Democrats’ so-called commitment to diversity?
During a SiriusXM Urban View appearance with DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta and radio hosts Clay Cane and Reecie Colbert, Crockett shared concerns about internal Democratic discussions — and the role of elite liberal donors in shaping the party’s future.
“There’s fear about nominating a woman again. So people are saying, ‘Let’s just find the safest white boy we can,’” Crockett said.
“I had a donor tell me directly: all the money is lining up behind one candidate. And it’s not a woman. It’s not a black person.”
2028 Already Rigged by Democrat Donors?
Crockett didn’t name names, but speculation is swirling. The top names being floated as Democrat-safe picks include:
- Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ)
- Gov. Andy Beshear (D-KY)
- Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL)
All three are white, male, and deeply connected to the party establishment — a formula that suggests Democrat insiders are abandoning their identity politics rhetoric behind closed doors.
Trump Still Dominates, Despite Left-Wing Spin
In the same conversation, Crockett bizarrely claimed former President Donald Trump won’t be running again — despite his ongoing dominance in the polls and support from millions of Americans across the country.
“He still doesn’t know how to handle me,” Crockett said. “And if he takes a shot at me, I’m firing right back.”
But her dismissive tone toward Trump — and her party’s obsession with donor-driven politics — only highlight how out of touch today’s Democrats are with everyday Americans.
What This Means for 2028
The Democrat Party appears headed for a civil war between progressive activists and establishment powerbrokers. And with President Trump’s America First momentum still surging, the Left’s internal confusion could mean another major defeat at the ballot box.
