GOP Targets Dual Citizenship?

Republicans Demand Full Loyalty to America — No Exceptions

In a move that’s firing up conservative voters across the country, Republican lawmakers are cracking down on dual citizenship in Congress. Their message is simple: You can’t serve in the U.S. government while pledging allegiance to another country.

“If you’re going to represent the American people, your loyalty should be to America — and America alone,” said Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), a leading voice in the effort.

Massie introduced the Dual Loyalty Disclosure Act, which would require all members of Congress to disclose any foreign citizenship they hold. The bill also encourages dual citizens to renounce foreign allegiances entirely.

The legislation already has support from high-profile GOP figures, including Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), and Rep. Clay Higgins (LA) — all of whom have signed on as original co-sponsors.

Is Congress Compromised? Lawmakers Call for Transparency

“The American people deserve to know if their elected officials have citizenship ties to other nations,” Massie stated in a press release.

According to Massie, if Congress won’t ban dual citizenship outright, it should at least demand full transparency and require lawmakers to abstain from votes involving foreign governments where they may have personal ties.

This initiative taps into growing concerns over foreign influence in Washington and echoes a broader GOP mission: restoring integrity, loyalty, and common sense to government.

Trump’s Bold Push to End Birthright Citizenship

This dual citizenship debate comes at a time when President Donald Trump is once again taking a stand for national sovereignty.

In a major move, Trump signed a powerful executive order aimed at ending automatic birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants and non-citizens with temporary status. The current policy, many argue, has created a dangerous loophole that rewards illegal immigration.

The Trump administration is now urging the Supreme Court to lift lower court injunctions that have delayed implementation. If successful, the order would allow federal agencies to proceed with new guidelines to close the birthright loophole once and for all.

“This is about protecting the integrity of U.S. citizenship,” said a senior Trump official. “We must put Americans first.”

A Question of Allegiance: Can Lawmakers Truly Serve Two Nations?

Rep. Massie made his position clear in an interview with Fox News Digital:

“Personally, I don’t believe dual citizens should be allowed to serve in Congress at all. But this bill is a first step. At the very least, voters should know exactly who their representatives are loyal to.”

With a narrow GOP majority in the House, it remains to be seen how far this legislation will go — but conservatives nationwide are rallying behind the cause.

Why This Matters to Patriotic Americans

For millions of Americans, especially those over 50 who have lived through decades of change, the idea of unquestioned loyalty to the United States still matters. It’s about preserving American values, upholding the Constitution, and ensuring that those in power serve the people — not foreign interests.

As this debate heats up, one thing is clear: The America First movement is alive and stronger than ever.
