Despite losing ground with key demographics and facing a surging Republican base, Democrats are once again setting their sights on Florida, claiming 2024’s results were a fluke and that the Sunshine State is “in play” for 2028. With President Trump continuing to rally massive support across the state, and Florida leading the charge on conservative policies, is there any real chance the Democrats can turn it blue—or is this just more wishful thinking from a party stuck in the past?
