American Airlines went viral on Twitter when a Twitter user posted about one of their pilots wearing an LGB sticker. LGB stands for Let’s Go Brandon – a viral phrase used in opposition to President Joe Biden in place of another expletive-laced phrase.
“We are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted,” said the Twitter user. The user made their complaint to American Airlines, who responded by saying, “We take this very seriously and have sent this over to crew leadership. They will handle this internally after review. We assure you appropriate internal review will occur.”
Last year, a similar controversy was created when a Southwest Airlines pilot was heard saying Let’s Go Brandon on the intercom during a flight.
